Authentic Sound
Delve into the unique blend of rock influences that shape their music.
The Hawkeyes of Pittsburgh PA are a rock powerhouse forging an honest and unique sound with a pure blend of fist pumping rock, Rustbelt grit, and big stage headlining attitude persona. The intense rock five piece puts on an incredibly exciting live show displaying a full-throated passionate sound, unforgettable songs, and pure rock n roll swagger. Ripping guitars and pulsing rhythm propel the band’s raw and powerful musical demeanor, while its lyrical honesty paints a compelling portrait of its working-class roots and constant desire for growth.
The band's mentality is one that is focused on elevating to the biggest stages that any working/touring band could imagine but also pays an endearing tribute to its working-class rock 'n' roll roots that draw inspiration from the city in which it has lived, worked for, breathed and loved.
From the people they have met, to the experience of playing that first gig in a smoky club with cheap beer, those influences have led to a
collection of super tight, endearing songs that are representative of the band's growth from an outlying rock act to a hometown and national
touring staple that has performed on some of Pittsburgh's biggest stages - Stage AE, Rex Theater, Thunderbird Cafe & Hard Rock Cafe as well as some capacity attended headlining shows at out of town venues such as Radio Radio in Indianapolis IN, Bent Keg in Appleton WI, Schmitt's
Saloon in Morgantown WV and Sturgis Music Fest Main Stage.
The Hawkeyes have logged thousands of miles nationally over their life as a band and have shared stages with such household names such as
Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Marcy Playground, Lit, Collective Soul, Blackberry Smoke, Rich Robinson (The Black Crowes), Bob Mould (Husker Du), Lukas Nelson & Promise of The Real, The Clarks, and Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers.
The band is currently back in the studio writing and recording their next upcoming release with producer Sean McDonald at Red Medicine Recording Studios, looking to have a single out by Spring/Summer 2026.
The band also has a slew of great shows planned for this year's concert season.
